ABOUT ME
After 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist and nearly 20 years experience in the field of psychology and healing, I am constantly moved to better my understanding, clinical knowledge and treatment of the impact of trauma and adversity on individuals, families and communities.
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and specialise in trauma, stress and neuroscience. That means I am specially trained to work with trauma and developmental trauma. I previously had the privilege to work underneath and be supervised by world renowned trauma and attachment expert, Janina Fisher PhD.
I work with individuals on a range of symptoms and diagnosis from anxiety, depression and PTSD to DID and border-line personality disorder. That means that I work with various types of abuse or with individuals recovering from some kind of trauma, developmental trauma or stress related disorder.
More widely I am the Director of PESI UK (formerly the Founder and Director of Psychotherapy Excellence), a not-for-profit organisation, and the largest CPD and training portal in the UK and Europe. I teach and consult on stress, trauma and neuroscience for various organisations in the UK and internationally.
